This new year is starting off right👍

Good morning everyone, happy Friday to you. This year has started out busy as ever. Two great classes have begun this year for me, one, Wanderlust, and two LIFEBOOK 2016. I hope to share with you my projects and all of the wonderful things that I'm learning. Each of the classes have such wonderful instructors and techniques that are over-the-top. Here are just a couple of photos I'd like to share with you of my first projects...

This was my first layout at Wanderlust. We had to choose one word of how we felt that day. I chose happiness.

Art Pins

I had so much fun with these little cuties. I used little wooden houses left over from Mary Jane Chadbourns class Tinytopia and some Lynn Parella stamps, a few filigree corners and whala. Hope you enjoy or better yet, give them a try.

Thanks for stopping by ❤️

September Challenge over at Lindy"s Stamp Gang

Hey there you guys.  Glad you stopped by!!! You know how I love great colors and art journaling so when I saw the challenge this month over at Lindy's Stamp Gang Blog I just had to order right away.  So I received my order, very quick I might add and got started.  I began with Gesso, then some modeling paste for texture.  Once dry I had the difficult decision of picking a couple colors, and believe me it was hard to do with all the awesome colors available, btw, I also ordered their new "neon " collection to.  I also ordered the coordinating "magicals",  I have never used them before and I asked myself "why not?"  Those are so awesome and bright, So I used Tibetan Poppy Teal, Cattail Copper Brown and Edelweiss Moss Green with a little black for depth, the houses needed something to sit on. After I had some spray on my page it seemed to remind me of a mountain, you know the one's with the houses built right in to the sides.  I had the sizzix die with the little houses, cut them from some chipboard and sprayed them as well with the same colors and tucked them in to the "mountain".  It's kinda different from most of my other art journal layouts, but I tested the waters on Facebook and I received some wonderful feedback, so here I go, My first entry for Lindy's.  Wish me luck and thanks for stopping by and your support:)

Steamy goes Steampunk

Well steamy went a little steam punk today. I've been wanting to do another piece from Sandra Evertson's relics and artifact collection so I decided to pull out my gears cogs and other metals that I purchased from Mariam's crafting supply and went to work. This is the final result of one of four that I'm working on I hope you enjoy.  And thanks for stopping by.

Graphic 45 September Challenge

All the photo entries will be posted on the 25th

Hello there my friends, it has been a couple months since my last post, life just gets in the way sometimes.  I saw an article in our local newspaper that a "Steampunk" Convention is coming to our small town in October!! Pretty exciting I think, but it really got my muse going so I dove right in to some Steampunk fun.  Here are a few picks of an ATB I made using the G45 papers and I altered a tea box with some of Tim's papers as well. I hope you like what you see and thanks for stopping by.

Just a side note : I was fortunate to take some really fantastic classes this summer from Artful Gatherings.  It was absolutely awesome.  I'm gathering all my photos of projects and will be posting real soon so please come back and check it out and have a great day :)
