Relics Anyone?

Well I just finished an amazing project using Sandra Evertson Relics & Artifacts pieces.  Have you all seen them yet?  They are absolutely awesome pieces of cast resin, so beautiful are they, it was actually painful to paint over them.  But paint I did and this is what I came up with.  I hope you enjoy this 8x10 canvas of mixed media wonder.  I really fell in love with this one!

I started with an 8x10 canvas, covered it with Finnibair canvas piece and pieces, placed chicken wire with Art Basics 3D Gel Medium, I then put some stencil design with Art Basics Paste.  I used an old fork, wrapped with wire, bead and different metals that I got at Miriam Craft Source and attached all pieces and Prima Flowers with 3D Gel.  Once all pieces were where I wanted I added Lindys Paints to background.  Here came the painful part.....I had to find the exact color of sprays and paint to get that gunmetal look and sheen to the Relic pieces, nose, mouth and wings.  I think it came out perfect.
