Feeling a little Steamy !!!

Hello there my friends, it has been a couple months since my last post, life just gets in the way sometimes.  I saw an article in our local newspaper that a "Steampunk" Convention is coming to our small town in October!! Pretty exciting I think, but it really got my muse going so I dove right in to some Steampunk fun.  Here are a few picks of an ATB I made using the G45 papers and I altered a tea box with some of Tim's papers as well. I hope you like what you see and thanks for stopping by.

Just a side note : I was fortunate to take some really fantastic classes this summer from Artful Gatherings.  It was absolutely awesome.  I'm gathering all my photos of projects and will be posting real soon so please come back and check it out and have a great day :)

Art Anyone...

Hey everyone, just finished a little canvas using some wooden letters, lots of paste and stencils and of course Lindy's paint! I attached the letters using Gel Medium and wallah...a picture was born. Haha I think it came out pretty good, what do you think?

And with the extra paint that dripped on the Matt...

I just loved making this blue one, the stamps are from Tim Holtz but the lovely face one the front is from my BFF in Germany, Rose. Definitely a favorite of mine!

Creative Artiste Challenge Blog Now Open!!!

Well today's the day we've all been waiting for. Creative Artiste Challenge Blog

is now up and running. We have a great little group of awesome designers who will have fun each month making projects along with you. I wanted to share something that I have made using 12 playing cards this time. I watch a video on Donna Downey's site. A cool technique altering 12 cards at a time . Check it out...

I didn't get pics when I was putting all the paint on, but just lightly tape together 3 rows of 4 cards. Go to town on layering and painting. When dry carefully cut them apart and tape together 6 side by side.

Add rub ons, stickers, doodles and make a little art journals.

With the remaining cards you didn't use think about using them for some "abandoned art"
